Buying a home can feel like a lot—but I’ve got you. Here's what the process looks like, broken down step by step so you know exactly what to expect:

Find the Right Agent

(Hi, that’s me.) Buying a home is one of life’s biggest financial and personal decisions. You deserve someone you like, trust, and feel good working with. We’ll start with a buyer consultation to clarify your goals, budget, and timeline so you feel educated and confident every step of the way. My job is to help you build the life you’re dreaming about and starting with the right foundation.

Prepare Your Finances

Before we dive into house hunting, it’s important to make sure you’re in the best possible position. We’ll talk about what to expect from the pre-approval process, and I’ll connect you with trusted lenders who can guide you through credit scores, debt-to-income ratios, and everything else that shapes your buying power. The earlier we start this conversation, the smoother your journey will be.

Get Pre-Approved

I'll send you my list of preferred local lenders to get you fully pre-approved and ready to shop. Some of them may have programs or perks that could work in your favor.

Define Your Priorities

Must-haves, deal-breakers, and dream features—this is where we build your home search strategy.

Start Home Shopping

We’ll explore both on- and off-market opportunities, using my network and experience to uncover the right fit. I’m not here to sell you, I’m here to protect you. My job is to spot as many red flags as possible and make sure you understand what you're walking into, not to gloss things over.

Make an Offer

When you find the one, I’ll help craft a smart offer strategy by building rapport with the listing agent, analyzing comps, and making sure your offer stands out. The goal is to secure the home you want on the best possible terms.

Submit Earnest Money

Once your offer is accepted, you’ll put down earnest money, AKA good faith money, to show you’re serious. I’ll guide you through the next steps and make sure everything stays on track.

Inspection Period

We'll schedule a home inspection and review the findings together. If needed, we’ll negotiate repairs or credits to keep things moving.

Order an Appraisal

Your lender will order an appraisal to ensure the home’s value supports the purchase price. Ask me about how you can leverage this to win multiple offer situations!

Financing Approval

This is when final underwriting wraps up and you get the all-clear to close. Almost there! Just be sure to avoid any major financial changes during this time, like opening new credit cards or making big purchases, as they can affect your loan approval.

Close on Your Home

We’ll sign the final paperwork and the keys become yours. Yay! In competitive situations, offering post-close occupancy can sometimes give your offer an edge—ask me how it works and if it’s the right move for you.
